The Pennsylvania Railroad brought two of its famous T1 duplex drive passenger locomotives to the 1948 Railroad Fair. Here No. 5513 approaches the grandstand in a display of what the PRR hoped would be state-of-the-art steam power. Three of the T1s also visited the the fair in 1949, but most of these locomotives were soon stored out of service. All were scrapped by 1953.
