A Missouri Pacific manifest barrels through one of the cities between Dallas and Fort Worth, on former Texas & Pacific trackage, in September 1973 behind EMD SD40 702. Built in 1967, 702 was renumbered 3002 and then became Union Pacific 4002 with the 1983 MP merger into the UP. It was repainted to UP Armour yellow in 1984 and retired in 1989. However, it was reinstated and leased to the National Railways of Mexico from 1989-1991. In 1992 it was sold to Helm Leasing as HCLX 3002.
