The highest-numbered Hudson on the New York Central System was class J-2c No. 5474, after renumbering from Boston & Albany No. 619. William D. Volkmer captured her taking on coal at the Chatham, New York terminal facilities on May 30, 1951. This locomotive had two years of service remaining before being torched late in 1953.
