Pictured at South Bend, Indiana on July 19, 1953 is class U-2d 0-8-0 switcher No. 7344. The specifications of this subclass were identical to those of other U-2 subclasses as given for No. 7539. No. 7344, originally No. 644, rolled off the erecting floor of ALCo's Pittsburgh works in 1917. She was sold for scrap a year after a photographer identified only as "HNP" snapped this image.
