The Chicago Great Western 2-10-4s of class T-1 had a 100-square-foot grate area, 4769 square feet of evaporative heating surface, and 1325 square feet of superheater surface. They weighed 455,310 pounds minus tender, and put out 92,590 pounds of tractive force. (Other dimensions are given on the preceding page for No. 854.) No. 858 poses at Chicago in 1947 in an image saved from a discontinued Internet site; the photographer is unspecified. All the CGW's 2-10-4s were out of service by 1950, and none were preserved.
